Christian Revival in North America is most well-known for the Great Awakening of the 18th and 19th centuries. Led by charismatic preachers such as Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield and sparked religious revivals across the colonies. The revivals also had a significant impact on the development of American society, influencing the abolition of slavery and the temperance movement.

In addition to the Great Awakening of the 18th and 19th centuries, there were several notable Christian revivals in the 20th century, including the Welsh Revival, Azusa Street Revival, Healing Revival and Jesus People Movement.
